Jaipur is the city I grew in but it took me some time to realize what a wonderful city I live in. As a child I did not think much of it but when I moved out of Jaipur I came to know how does it stand out from other cities of India.
The city was painted pink in the honor of prince of wales by King and this is how it got its fame of pink city. It was color geru but in colloquial language it was called pink.

Jaipur was established by Raja Jai Singh. The special thing about architecture of Jaipur is that it is based on nine planets. It is a well-planned city. The four elements of earth, water, air and moon were the inspiration of four palaces of Hawamahal, city palace, Amber fort and Jal Mahal.

Hawamahal does not have any foundation and it is on standing 87 degrees.
