“Time is money” is not an exaggerated saying. It indeed is. Ask the runner who lost his victory to his competitor by lagging behind a couple of seconds. Ask somebody who suffered an accident and could not reach the hospital on time. Ask the twins who claim to be younger and older than each other just by a few seconds.
In Indian tradition, an auspicious time or “muhurtham” is chosen to perform a ritual. In our day-to-day life, we fear to miss our bus, train, or flight by a few minutes or seconds. We suffer when we lose time. Therefore we need to manage time.
Like money, we do not have an ATM of the time. Every one of us gets a day of 24 hours to spend. At the end of that day, not everybody can perform all the tasks he or she is supposed to do throughout the day. This affects our personal and professional progress in life.
Time management is not a big deal if you have determination. Start with simple activities of your daily life and see the improvement that brings to your performance.
Punctuality in daily life is the key to successful time management. Especially, waking up and sleeping on time helps a lot to manage the rest of your day. So make sure that you wake up and sleep on time daily. Staying fit is very important in this sensitive time. So carve out some time for daily exercise as well. Those who are working from home need to stick to their work timings for better productivity. Working from home leaves you with some spare time that you can invest in attending online classes and learning a new skill.
